You Don’t Need More Faith

How much faith is enough? Jesus told the disciples if they had faith as small (not as big) as a mustard seed they could transplant a mulberry tree into the sea. It probably wouldn’t do the mulberry tree much good and the fruit would be a bit salty, but it would obey. However faith is not meant to be used for party tricks, nor for selfish gain.

The disciples wanted more faith because Jesus had been speaking about Christian living and it sounded difficult. They didn’t need more faith but they were expected to be willing to do what the Lord had said. Our willingness to live God’s way is important because that is faith in action. The more we follow, the more He provides.
