There are no Black Sheep here

Most families have someone who is “the black sheep” of the family. That person is a bit different to the rest, either by lifestyle choices or behaviour. But it is comforting to know that in God’s family there are no “black sheep”. The Bible says: all have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory, but we are justified by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23).

Jesus makes us holy through His death and resurrection, and we are all members of His family. In the letter to the Hebrews we read: the One who makes us holy and we who are made holy are of the same family. Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters (Hebrews 2:11). While it is an honour  to be in the Lord’s family, there are still a lot of “long-lost relatives” who need to know Him.
