The Zion Church Hall is available for use to our congregational members as well as the general public.

To see if the hall is available you will need to contact Kevin in our church office during office hours.

Conditions of Hire in Brief

The hirer is responsible for leaving the Hall clean and tidy

Chairs and Tables – all stackable chairs and tables are to be put away in the designated areas.

If the Stage is used, it must be left clean and tidy. The front stage curtains are to be closed upon exit. Children must not be allowed to use the stage area to play on.

Kitchen – Must be left clean and tidy. It is the responsibility of the hirer to dispose of all food scraps from the premises. Tea towels are to be supplied by the hall hirer.  The Green Bins are NOT to be used for food scraps.

Electrical Appliances – All electrical appliances including lights, heaters and fans are to be switched off before leaving the premises.

Toilets are to be checked to see they are left clean and flushed. CLEANING must be completed prior to leaving the premises.

Damage & breakages – Damage to the Hall or contents must be reported to the Church Office.  The hirer is responsible for the repair or replacement of any breakage or damage.

Alcohol – Intoxicating liquor is strictly prohibited in the hall or on the Church property, except for congregational members private functions, of which a limited amount may be consumed, provided that the necessary permit required by SA Law, has been obtained by the hirer.  NOTE: NO KEGS ARE PERMITTED

SMOKING – Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the hall.  Smokers are to use ashtrays provided outside.

Sound Volume – Music and Audio volume should be kept to a reasonable level so that neighbouring residents are not disturbed.

Closing Time – All functions must close by 12.00 Midnight.

Variation of Rules – Zion Church reserves the right to vary these rules when necessary.

Failure to comply with the above conditions will result in the forfeiture of the bond.
